Happy Holidays!!!

Happy Holidays to everyone! I have quite a few things in mind but I just somehow find it difficult to type them down! I guess I will probably fail my 'O' level composition examination if I got to retake!!! I will still *try* to churn them out in the coming few days!

Haha!!!

Christmas is the period of time when I really look back what I have done for the year. I did achieve or make some progress in some areas in my life. The biggest achievement is something that I would not like to share at this point of time as I was advised by concerned people to stay low profile about it!

However, some of the progresses that I have made includes (not in any particular order)!:-

1. Did 2 10km run on Sundown 2011 and Standard Chartered Marathon 2011. I didn't train for my 10km run. So both runs were made of walking-fast and running with walking-fast covering longer distance! Fitness shall be listed down in my year 2012 resolution again!

2. Bought quite a few books on Tarot, not only on divination techniques but on some of its other related topics. Most of the books just came in recently and I am still taking time to digest them. I feel good that the passion for Tarot reading doesn't die out. I feel great when I do good readings for people anytime.

3. It's a decision that's made this year which will take effect after next week, which is I'm going back to school! I have signed up for a 8-month Diploma in Paralegal Studies with Kaplan. Wish me luck guys!

4. I'm still training Xingyi Quan (形意拳) under Xingyi Kempo. I have started training since July 2010. It's been 18 months!!! But of course I still have a lot to improve! But learning Internal Martial Arts really makes me understand thoroughly what does it mean about investing time and effort in practising and practising. I feel that this applies to almost all things in life. I am currently picking up Xingyi Swordplay (形意劍) and Wuxing Tongbei Quan (五行通臂拳).

5. Changed job successfully! Although technically speaking it's a transfer of 'department' but I still get to change to a new working environment!

6. I did lose my weight from 106kg to 97kg in the middle of this year. But somehow I can feel that I have put on some weight again! I manage to muster enough courage to speak my up mind when I met irritating relatives who have been mocking my body mass for decades (since I was a boy, so, at least 2 decades okay?)and tell them off!

7. Cut down in playing arcade games...I think I did cut down lah!

Maybe I should draft up a KPI against a timeline for me to set my targets and goals! I'm turning 30 after this week. I see it as a very important landmark in my life. With a partner that I'm serious in settling down, there's not much room for me to carry on idling.

Sighs, is ego playing up...?

Anyway, 1 Jan 2012 also happens to fall on a Sunday, the first day of the week. So it makes the whole 2012 so significant! Okay, at least this is how I feel.

Better draft up my 2012 resolution! Meantime...Happy Holidays!
